Sharing a few of my favorite (some old, some new) lipstick shades to wear in the Summer! I tend to stick with more nudes, mauves, pinks, and will branch out every once in a while with a bold lip. I haven’t been doing it much lately now that I think about it, but I do love it. It’s a simple, easy (and cheap) way to elevate your outfit instantly!
Have you guys tried Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks? Actually, just the brand Charlotte Tilbury in general – I’ve been trying their products little by little (everything can be bought at Nordstrom) and LOVE them. You can definitely tell they are high quality and have the prettiest shades. I’ve talked about this concealer before but I’ve used it on/off for about a year now. It’s a light formula but wears/covers very well. I also swear by this finish setting powder. SO GOOD!!! I use it to set my under eye concealer and it works so well and doesn’t not make you look ghostly white like I have seen other setting powders do. I wear the shade Fair (again just for under my eyes so you want this area of your face to be lighter).
I’ve also fallen in love with a few of their lipstick colors… their all time most popular color being ‘Pillowtalk’ – and I am a fan as well! It’s their most universal shade meaning it compliments every skin tone and looks slightly different on everyone. I’d say it’s a true mauve color on me. I’m also loving this one in the shade Kim K.W. although it can tend to wash me out if I wear it alone so I typically pair it with a darker lipgloss of some sort or I will even line my lips with the color ‘Pillowtalk’ to darken it up a bit. If you have an olive/darker complextion, this color would be GORGEOUS on you! I’ve seen it worn by a few of my friends who naturally have a darker skin tone than me and it’s stunning!
A few more shades worth mentioning… Kidman’S Kiss (What I’m wearing in these pictures), Bosworth’S Beauty (for that pop of hot pink), and Lost Cherry.
I find their lipsticks to be thicker in application/wear, more matte, and yet very hydrating and long wearing.
Thanks Nordstrom for always being my one stop shop for everything beauty!
Huge thank you to Nordstrom for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own!
