Home decor at an affordable price is like music to every woman’s ears. What?! Where?! I’m going… NOW!
I was pleasantly surprised to find some awesome Holiday goods from Walmart (and all at an affordable price point). I guess you could say I’m a little old school when it comes to my color scheme but I’m all about that red, green, and gold! Something about using actual Christmas colors makes it feel more Christmas-y to me.
Since Trav and I have been married, we’ve made it a tradition to go out and buy our tree every year, a real tree. Again, something about a real tree screams Christmas! The tradition of cutting it down with your family (Okay, I totally admit- we “headed” to Lowe’s this year… there was no cutting involved), the smell of pine needles, etc. – I haven’t been able to let go of the yearly tradition and we’ve honestly had fun making these memories year after year. However, I think we may cave this year and buy a (fake) tree after Christmas for next year (hello Xmas sales!). I’m obsessed with all things Christmas and will put up my tree as soon as soon as I’m able (including not being judged by others).
Being that we live where it doesn’t ever snow, I love to add in anything flocked. Like this wreath, which is a whopping $9!!! I’m pretty sure they sell the same one at Michael’s for at least $29.99. It would be a perfect addition to hang on your entry door or on an inside wall used as decor. These glittered pinecones are another item I’ve seen being sold at Michaels for around $15-$20. Here they are for $5!
