I wanted to share with you all a few beauty products I swear by that I purchase from Nordstrom. They carry a ton of my go-to beauty products which is why I’m constantly referring back to them. I’m sure most of you have heard of these (or even use them), but I really feel like these are the products that make a huge difference in my overall makeup look.
First, is this bronzer in the color “Global Glow”. I love this particular shade/color because it acts as both a bronzer and a highlighter. I use it right after I put my blush on and go over my cheeks/blush as well as a little bit higher concentrating on my cheekbones. I then take my brush and use it on the sides of my eyes up to the side of my forehead, contouring my face a little bit. I forgot to wear it to church a few weeks ago and my husband asked if I was okay- haha. I guess it makes that big of a difference! Another popular color I’ve seen people wear is Soft & Gentle. This one will give you a softer look and won’t be as tinted.
I also SWEAR by this foundation (I use the color “ECRU”). It covers so well and lasts ALL day! It a little bit on the dryer side so I’d definitely recommend using your moisturizer and primer before applying. Speaking of primer, I love this one! It works for all skin types, oily or dry.
I was at a blogging event last weekend and got to hang out with some pretty “big time” bloggers who are definitely on top of their beauty game. A few of them recommended this foundation and I’ve yet to try it!
Lastly, I’ve recently learned how to contour and I feel like it makes a world of difference (which is why I started adding in the bronzer around my eyes). I use this palette as it’s a great kit for starters. You definitely want to start with powder if you’re learning how to contour. There are so many tutorials on YouTube which is where I initially learned. Try it- I bet you’ll become addicted too!
