By I’ve had a thing for all things pink lately. Whether it be looking for home decor (more on that below) or or my next sweatshirt, purse, tee – you name it! Everything pink is calling my name. The bright, hot hues scream more Summer, but the pastel, softer pinks/blush are still very in for Fall/Winter seasons. Sharing a few ‘pink things’ below…
On the home side of things, if you haven’t heard- WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! And yes… I’m screaming!
You guys, this feels like a million years in the making. Yes, I realize I’m being a bit dramatic here but it perfectly depicts just how excited we are and how long we have been waiting for this day. California living (or should I say owning) is no joke! We live just 1.5 hours away from San Francisco which is literally the highest marketed area in the US. A lot of people who work in the bay area live in Sacramento and make the daily commute, just so they can save on their house payment. With that said, it has significantly raised the price of homes in Sacramento with TONS of new jobs opening up in the bay. The market in general is higher right now, but even more so in Sacramento for this very reason. Houses have been flying off the market for months now. It’s slowed down just a tad in the past few months which is why we’ve had enough time to look at a house, thinking about it, and put a bid in. We’ve been saving and waiting and praying and hoping. The day finally came! It has everything we wanted in a house and more. I seriously can’t wait to show you guys and to start incorporating more home posts here. We should have the keys in about 3ish weeks, so stay tuned as I will be sharing lots more!
