Kids Summer Style

Can you believe it’s already Summertime?! All of my kids are fishes at heart so they are counting down the days until it’s swimming weather. We leave for Hawaii in a few weeks and they can hardly wait (me too).

Everything you see in these pictures are from Walmart. Ella’s leopard swimsuit is literally $9 and the boys are $7! They have so many cute leopard options (linking them all below) – so if you have a little girl, be sure to check them out. I was so sad to see this one is out of stock in Ella’s size (SO cute!).

I also had to pick up this poop emoji floaty. It’s right on point for my kids’ ages as they think it’s the funniest thing in the world and were making potty noises and faces the whole time we were shooting. So when you see the kids plugging their noses in a few pics below, now you know why 😉 Check out all of their pool floats here – they have such cute options! We also got this unicorn.

One of things I noticed recently is how many items Walmart includes in the two-day shipping (on order over $35) – for me, this is huge! If I can two day ship something to my house without having to go to the store, I’m usually sold! Right on Walmart!

I thought it would be fun to give you guys a little life update on each of my kids since I haven’t covered that here in quite some time. They are growing like weeds and I swear every picture I look back on, they look years younger. My two bigs (as I like to call them) are literally kids. Not toddlers, not babies, not anything remotely baby-ish. It makes me sad and happy, of course. I’m loving this season of life but I also dread looking back on pictures knowing they’ll never be that little again. Such is #momlife

Ella is EIGHT! and seriously the best sister in the world. And I don’t say that to brag on her… she truly is. She is such a gift and God knew what he was doing when he gave her to me first. She is always helping her younger brothers and has such a big heart for them (Don’t mess with them- she will let you have it!) She’s been having some on-going tummy pains/issues that we’re still trying to nail down (might be to lack of a nutritious diet :/ ) the root cause of it all. She’s highly sensitive and part of it might be due to being such a worrier/perfectionist. I was the same way when I was little. Hello Type A personality. Other than that, she’s doing great! A big second grader (going into third in a few months). I’m so proud of who she is and watching her go getter personality emerge. She is definitely a force to be wreckened with!

Brooklyn (for those of you who are new, we intended to call my son Brooks but it never stuck- we call him Brooklyn or Bubba) is my sensitive soul. He is his daddy to a T and it’s becoming more and more evident the older he gets. Not only his looks (their baby pictures are nearly identical), but I swear he is little Travis right down to his personality (I call him little Trav) – the apple does not fall far from the tree. He is extremely creative with a huge imagination, has the BEST smile you’ve ever seen (including those dimples!), is easy going, and makes me think I could have a million boys. I’ve said that about him since he was a baby. There’s just something about him that’s so infectious – he always puts a smile on your face. He starts Kindergarten next year (we held him back because he was born right on the cut off having a birthday in August) and is so excited!

And then there’s Jude… my #judemood who is growing into such a little boy. The past six months I’ve seen such huge changes in him. He is talking way more (both Ella and Jude were a little behind in speech- we never worried with Jude because we had already walked down that road with Ella) and is becoming his own little person. He wants to be just like his brother and it’s the cutest thing to watch. He copies everything Brooklyn does. It’s so hard to describe his personality because he really is one of a kind 😉 He’s very respectful and easy going when it comes to being at preschool or church, but likes to rule the house when he’s home 😉 He’s starting to play pranks on us (like his sister) and it’s the cutest/funniest thing to watch haha.

Lastly, please make sure you scroll down to the second to the last picture and zoom in on Jude’s face. Best thing I’ve seen all week! I’m not sure what happened but he was running and I think gravity got the best of him 😉

Huge thank you to Walmart for sponsoring this post. As always, all opinions are my own.

XOXO
