If you watch my stories, you’ll know that this is a skincare brand I’ve been using for close to a year now and have fallen in love with a few of their products.
One of my favorite things to do (particularly when it comes to beauty products) is read the reviews. For whatever reason I feel like people are very passionate about sharing their personal experience (good or bad) on beauty product reviews so I put a lot of faith in what I read. I had heard a lot of hype about Colleen Rothschild products, read some reviews, and then decided to try a few products based off of what I had heard/read.
The first product I fell in love with is their Retinol Supreme Eye Serum. I use this every other night (rotate between this and an eye cream). Anything that has retinol in it… I’m game! But really, it’s the consistency of this eye serum that sold me. It’s very potent and does it’s job well. It also contains Vitamin C which is a huge bonus. You truly will love this stuff! Another product I use and rotate within my skincare regimen… their Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum. Again, read the five star reviews here. This serum helps exfoliate and break down the dead cells on the top layer of your skin, leaving a more vibrant and even skin tone. I use it after I wash my face and before I put on my night time moisturizer. If you are acne prone, this is a great option to try. I have not had a problem with breakouts, in fact, I feel like it helps keep my acne at bay.
Next up… a few different oils. I have/use this Face oil N.9 (again, read the reviews- 5 Star) – this is one of the main reasons I started using it. One of the myths about using an oil (I pat it into my skin after my nighttime moisturizer) is that it works only for people with dry skin. That’s not true. If you use the right kind, you shouldn’t break out. In fact, it can help balance out those who have more oily skin. This will leave your skin highly nourished/hydrated and give off a radiance/glow.
I am also going to try this Retinol Supreme Night Oil because, again… retinol.
Vitamin C and Retinol are two things you should have integrated into your skincare routine, however that looks. I use Vitamin C in the mornings (either in a few serums I have or this pure complex by Colleen Rothschild and Retinol at night). I put it on my ends after blow drying my hair to give it moisture and nutrients before applying any more hot tools.
