Back to School with Rack Room Shoes

Back to School… the time of the year that every mama loves/hates- ha! I really think that’s exactly how it breaks down for most families. Summer created many fun and wonderful memories as a family but the sound of normalcy, kid-free days sound somewhat appealing after a few months of non-stop going life!

Fortunately I’m not there just yet. I still have the option as to how much my kiddos are home with me and I’m soaking it all up! I know just how fast time flies. Before I know it, my daughter will be in Kindergarten and I won’t have any control over her schedule. I’ve got one year left- one year! So for now, as a big Pre-K school girl, I’ve made it a goal to be intentional about surprising her by picking her up early from school, keeping her home a little more, and taking her out on one-on-one dates. Just me and her.

As for the baby of the house, he just started pre-school last Thursday. & the only thing that kept the tears from flowing as I dropped him off was knowing that there is another little cutie in my belly that (obviously) won’t be starting school for a while. Something about the “last” everything that gets me.

We did the whole back to school shopping thing and found some great finds. New shoes are always on the top of the list for us. They need to be practical, comfy, and sustainable.
