We had SO much fun on our recent trip to Southern California (I’m in NorCal if you didn’t know) while visiting the beach and DISNEYLAND! After all- it’s the happiest place on earth (between the no-naps, anxious spirits, fussy baby {poor guy}, etc.) – but really, all in all, we had a great time. All that craziness just comes with family vacations because if you’re a mom you know vacationing with your kids is a whoooooole different experience than vacationing sans kids. There’s pros and cons to both for sure, and I think it’s equally important to invest into both kinds. My favorite part about including the kids is watching their faces light up at the excitement of fun times as well as the lasting memories created. It’s worth it for sure.
Park Savers is the best site to find discounted tickets for Disneyland. Lower priced tickets can be hard to come by and I’ve learned that this company has done it’s research and offers some of the best discounted tickets around. They also provide discounted rates for nearby hotels so I’m going to take advantage of that the next go around!
HERE, HERE, & HERE are some of their current best sales & lowest discounted tickets!
A few of you asked me to share tips for Disneyland with kids. I wish that was my forte, but it’s not :/ I mean- I think sometimes what works for one family might not work for others and vice versa. Here’s what we learned worked for us. Definitely, DEFINITELY bring a stroller. If you have one kid, bring a single stroller. If you have two kids, DEFINITELY bring a double stroller. And if you have three kids……… well, you’re screwed. jk. We actually have a little kick board that attaches to our Uppababy so technically I guess you could call it a triple stroller? But even that didn’t do the trick for my five year old. She was exhausted and rightfully so. We ended up somehow working through it the first day and thankfully we had Jude stay back with my inlaws the second day which freed up our two seats for the two bigs. Which brings me to my second point- I’m not so keen on bringing a “baby” to Disneyland. If you have to and you want your baby there- I TOTALLY get it. That was me. It didn’t make sense in my head to leave my five month old back with family. We are his family. It’s just soooooo much more work adding in a baby with the feedings, extra everything luggage wise, not to mention the waiting on the side with the baby while the others go on rides. Not sure we’ll go again until Jude is at least 1 or 1 1/2 for that reason solely. Also- SNACKS! Bring snacks. And buy a few water bottles while you’re there. Your kids will be exhausted so anything to A. keep their energy level high B. keep them entertained while walking or waiting in line 🙂
BTW… below are the pictures of our trip just via my phone. I haven’t even touched the camera pics yet! If you’re going to Disneyland anytime soon, I’d suggest investing into a portable charger for your phone. Seriously- it’s changed my life. Being on my phone all day long, this thing was made for me! My phone easily would have died 1/4 way through the day, but I was able to capture so many more awesome shots by charging it here and there throughout the day. Alright… onto the pics 🙂
