My Skincare Routine

Ahhh! I am so excited about today’s post! I have yet to share my skincare routine with you guys and this one has been a long time coming. Here’s the deal, I have used NUMEROUS skin care regimens. I’ve dabbled in Rodan & Fields, Senegence (LipSense), and various other products. And while I can say that I have my favorites from both of those highly popular lines, I can honestly say that after using Tula products for 6 weeks now, these are hands down my favorite all around skincare products. My photographer (now friend) Ashley shot these pictures for me and even she mentioned how amazing my skin looked. I’m just wearing CC cream and a touch of mascara in these pictures.

I had heard about Tula from a few of my blogging friends and always had them in the back of my mind. I just didn’t know if I wanted to try something new, again. But I wasn’t 100% sold on the products I was using which is why I decided to give it a try when they reached out to me. I had to be honest with them and let them know from the beginning that if I wasn’t a fan, I probably wouldn’t share. I didn’t want to throw their brand under the bus (especially if we were in contract) and I knew I would want to be honest with you guys. But after six weeks of using their products, I.am.sold! SOLD!

Probiotics are the foundation of all Tula products. It’s what they whole heartedly believe is the difference maker within their system. Their products are also cruelty free meaning they are 100% free from parabens, toxins, and any other harmful preservative.

Although their products work for every skin type, I have combo acne prone skin (oily in the t-zone) and this stuff has been a lifesaver. I was breaking out prior to starting this regimen and it’s taken away all of my acne (insert happiest dance eveeerrrr!)

I want to break down and talk about the products individually so that you guys can get a better feel for what each of them do and what might be the best fit for you. These are the products I have used consistently (in order from top to bottom) the past six weeks.

Purifying Cleanser: My #1 favorite product they sell! If you are acne prone or love a cleanser that cleans extremely deep into your pores- this is it! I am seriously obsessed & believe this is the game changer for my acne prone skin. I also feel like you get your money worth here as the bottle it comes in is quite large and will last you forever! I wash my face morning and night with this. It’s also one of their top sellers! If there is one thing you buy today, invest into this.

Toner, Pro-Glycolic Resurfacing Gel: This is an alcohol free toner that uses pro-biotics (the base of their products), glycolic acid, and beetroot extract to exfoliate the skin. I use this product right after I use the cleanser and it diminishes the appearances of pore while hydrating your skin.

Aqua Infusion Oil Free Gel Cream: If your skin is dehydrated and needs to be brought back to life, this is the product you want to use! It is like drinking water for your skin. This gel cream is oil-free (lifesaver for acne prone skin like me!) and leaves your skin feeling moist, hydrated, and refreshed! Seriously love this stuff.

Illuminating Serum: This serum targets the appearance of dark spots, hyper pigmentation, and dull skin. It gives you a healthy and youthful glow. You all know how much I look for and invest into products that are illuminating and give off a glow rather than matte look. It makes you look more hydrated and youthful in my opinion. This is why this product is another one of my favorites! It’s not the cheapest, but I am obsessed with this stuff. If you want your skin to glow, this is the product you need! Loooooooove it!

Hydrating Day & Night Cream: This stuff is gold. I could be wrong but I believe this is their top seller. It hydrates without breaking you out! Winner!!!!

One other product that is not included in this picture that I absolutely love is the Kefir Replenishing cleansing oil. I use this to wash my make up and then follow up with the Purifying Cleanser. It’s not absolutely necessary but if you want the very best option for washing off your make up/cleaning your face, include this in your routine. It works soooooo well!

I do use a few other products in my routine that are not Tula including a Retinol cream and Vitamin C by Skin Ceuticals (two products you want to include in your routine for anti-aging benefits).

All in all, their products are just amazing and have provided the results I’ve been looking for. My skin is clean/acne free yet still extremely moisturized and hydrated. That can be a tough combo to achieve for my skin type. If you have a good skincare routine that leaves your face feeling fresh, moistened, and hydrated, you know just how much better your overall appearance is including your make up. Your make up goes on so much smoother and gives off that glow every one of us want.
