What’s Currently In My Make Up Bag

I’ve gotten a ton of questions recently on what make up products I currently use and most of my products are from Nordstrom so we’ve teamed up today to share “Whats currently in my make up bag”…

All of the products I’m sharing with you are being worn in the pictures below. I’ve been on a make up kick lately and have been buying/trying a ton of new products so these are the things that I’ve obviously tried out, loved, and added to my normal make up routine. Thankfully Nordstrom’s customer service is superb (as always) and has allowed me to return the products I haven’t personally loved. They’ve also been super helpful in store when I’ve been needing to find the perfect shade (example: you can get color swatched in store at the Estee Lauder counter and they will tell you your perfect foundation match using a super cool tool/gadget they use on your skin)

Let’s start out with my foundation. I’ve tried numerous ones… like, tons! And I always come back to this one by Estee Lauder. I’m sure most of you have heard of it by now or use it yourself. And if you haven’t. Do yourself a favor and try it! It’s long lasting, heavy coverage, and also includes SPF so it’s all in all amazing. I use the shade “ECRU”. I use this brush to apply my foundation and LOVE IT (check out the reviews)! I’m not a fan of the beauty blender. I feel like it doesn’t apply as heavy of a coverage.

Oh and rewind… before I put my foundation on (and after I’ve done my morning skincare routine), I use this radiance foundation primer , it’s a new favorite of mine. It gives off an overall radiance/dewy/glowy look. So so good!… I use to be into more of a matte finish but I’ve totally changed my view on this and now look for and invest into products that give off a more dewy look. I feel like it’s more youthful and overall eye catching.

I’ve also recently fallen in love with the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. I use this after I have applied my bronzer, mineralize blush (again including a glow/shimmer that I loooove for Spring/Summer), and sometimes I’ll use a stroke or two of this mineralize skinfinish by MAC. You’ll notice I use a lot of products with some form of highlighter or glow so I don’t use this all of the time. But if you’re looking for a great bronzer/highlighter all in one, I swear by this product! It’s a great one to bring with you on vacation or to use in the summertime.

For concealer, I use the Becca Under Eye Brightening Corrector along with a smidge of Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer. The combo of these two is gold!!! Really helps cover those dark circles and brightens majorly!

Lips- I’ve heard SO many amazing things about this lipliner in the color ‘Pillowtalk’ that I finally took the plunge and ordered it. No surprise- I love it! The color, the application… it’s a great pink neutral that is super versatile and can be paired with many different lipsticks. They also make this shade in their lipstick which I almost ordered too and will probably buy eventually.

Eyes- If you’re looking for a great eye shadow primer, this one by MAC has been my favorite for years. It really makes your eyeshadow pop and is looooong lasting. Like, you gotta scrub extra hard to get it off at the end of the day kinda long lasting. I’ve also been using this Naked2 Eyeshadow pallet a lot recently. I tend to stick to neutral shades, usually some sort of taupe/brown. This pallet gives you a variety of options in the neutral tones. My favorite everyday color in the palette is YDK. For mascara I swear by It Cosmetics Superhero.

To finish it off, this is a great long-lasting makeup setting spray.
